A: YES! You are more than welcome to construct a gift registry for any occasion. For example you may wish to set up a gift registry for your house warming party, or for a 25th anniversary celebration.  

 

Q: How can I see a picture of an item? back to top

A: We offer product images on our website and we are updating our images every week. If there is no image available for a particular item, we will place a picture of the place setting so you can become familiar with the pattern. Some images can be enlarged by clicking on the picture.

 

 

Q: Why must both the place setting and individual items show on my registry?  back to top

A: Since we offer an On-Line Registry and ordering, all individual pieces must be listed, as well as the place settings sets so that any purchase is possible. We will not supply registrants with more than you have requested on your registry except where a purchaser particularly asks us to overide the quantities you have requested.

 

 

Q: Does DinnerwareEtc.com carry discontinued china?  back to top

A: DinnerwareEtc.com specializes in quality products which are currently in production from the manufacturer. Occasionally we have some stock 'left over' after a pattern or item has been discontinued by a manufacturer. If you are unsure of the status of your pattern, you can ask us whether we carry it. Just e-mail, fax (801) 640-0260 or telephone (877) 777-8140 us and we will find out for you.

Q: How can I get a catalog of pictures for a particular product line? back to top

A: YES! We maintain up to date information, pictures, brochures and catalogs for each manufacturer and their products. You may request a catalog through e-mail, (please supply the name of the company/product you are interested in as well as a mailing address).

 

 

Q: Does DinnerwareEtc.com purchase used china?  back to top

A: We do not purchase or sell pre-owned china. You might find a market in one of the companies who specialize in discontinued china, and who advertise in the back of such magazines as Southern Living. You may also wish to search the internet using keywords such as flatware, sterling flatware, dinnerware, replacement etc. Failing this, I suspect your only outlet is directly to an antiques store.

A: Currently, we only accept orders delivered within the United States.

A: Yes! All we need to know is the name(s) (First and Last Name) under which you are registered or your registry #, and the specific changes you would like made. Please allow at least 48 hours for this change to appear on the website for your registry list. Email to: GiftRegistry@DinnerwareEtc.com

 

 

Q: I cannot find what I am looking for...where should I look on DinnerwareEtc.com?  back to top

A: If you know the name of the manufacturer you are trying to find, look at the list of links on the left hand side of the DinnerwareEtc.com home page. Find the vendor's name and click on it. You should now be looking at a list of all the patterns.

If you do not find what you are looking for using this method, you can also use the SEARCH option also located on the left side of the DinnerwareEtc.com home page. Using this option, you can search our web site using vendor names, pattern names or even item names such as 'Tureen'. If you cannot find what you are looking for, please e-mail us so that we can help you find it; or you can call us on our TOLL-FREE telephone number (877) 777-8140 and one of our associates will gladly provide you with pricing and availability information.

If you do not know the name of the vendor that manufactured the item you are trying to find, but you know the pattern name, or you can provide a description of it, simply e-mail, or telephone TOLL FREE (877) 777-8140 your inquiry to us. We will gladly help you find out more information about your product.

A: At this time we are unable to accept orders to APO or FPO addresses. We hope to offer this service in the near future.

 

 

Q: I cannot find my friend's/relative's gift registry on your website? How can I find out what they are registered for?  back to top

A: You may use the 'Find a Registry' option under the Gift Registry icon in the upper left hand corner. You may search using either:

The web site search results will list all of the registrant's with that name alphabetically. From this list, you may select the registrant that you are looking for and click on it.

If you cannot find the name of the person you are looking for, it is possible that they chose not to have their registry displayed on the DinnerwareEtc.com Website. Simply e-mail, fax (801) 640-0260 or telephone TOLL FREE (877) 777-8140. We will gladly help you locate your selections from the registry.

Q: Why are the pictures on the website different from the description? back to top

A. If a picture is available of a selected piece, it will be displayed. If there is no image available for a particular item, we will place a picture of the place setting so you can become familiar with the pattern. Some images can be enlarged by clicking on the picture.
