White Lace – both traditional and modern at the same time: this delicate, filigree web of threading, used since time immemorial for costly tablecloths, sumptuous clothing and the finest cloth, is firmly rooted in European culture. With White Lace, Villeroy & Boch is presenting a bright, shimmering but also graceful décor reminiscent of costly lace and embroidery from the geometric patterns applied with soft ornamentation along the fine bordering – minimalist, essential and stylishly contemporary. Its reserved elegance is further underscored by the harmonious interplay between simple shapes and their high-quality platinum décor. White Lace is built upon the graceful classic style found in Anmut, and reflects the current trend towards geometry as a core décor motif. The Anglo-Saxon cultural influence towards fine dining is unmistakeable here as well.
